Fred Sirieix

The opportunity came up to photograph Fred Sirieix for some editiorial work in his familiar surroundings at the Galvin at Windows restaurant in Park Lane, London.

Fred proved to be the charming Frenchman his TV persona depicts as well as having an affable nature and self assurance which is magnetic to his audience, however big or small.  

I wanted to stretch imagination and use a creative approach to portray Fred in a slightly different way, a man that has been photographed many times before. The restaurant backdrop is a familiar association with Fred yet this time it plays its own important part by creating an ambient environment which simply works.
